Anti-collusion Mechanism
The real money mode for ring tables is designed in such a way that it avoids potential collusions between players. Below is a description of how the anti-collusion mechanism works:
1. Each new player joins a “pool” of players.
2. Once a new player enters the pool, he is directed to a waiting table where he is invited to confirm the buy-in amount he wants to bring to the table.
3. When the player confirms, he is taken to a table chosen according to the server’s anti-collusion algorithm.
The anti-collusion algorithm:
Tables are regularly shuffled so that no two players will stay at the same table for more than a certain amount of time. In extreme cases, players are moved by the server at the end of every game. The server’s algorithm moves the players to the tables in such a way that there is minimal waiting time between games.
Quick-Fold
In Real-Money mode only, players can click on 'Quick Fold' during the game if they consider they have no more chances to win the game. If they do so, they are immediately sent to another table to start a new game.
Pause
When players click on 'Pause' the server moves them to a waiting table. While in the waiting table, they can click on 'Back to the game', and the server will take them back in the pool for the next starting game. If a player is inactive during a game (sit-out), he is automatically sent to a waiting table at the end of the game, where he can stay until he clicks on 'Back to the game'. If the player stays at the waiting table and remains inactive for up to one hour, he is ejected from the pool entirely.
